More About Lorraine

1. How long have you been in the real estate industry?

I am going into my 17th year in the real estate industry. I began my career as a licensed real estate salesperson in the summer of 2000. I continually participate in educational training, have my GRI certification; I am a licensed associate broker as well as a certified buyer representative.

2. What made you decide to become a realtor?

I was looking for a career change after working in the beauty field for twenty years. Meeting new people, traveling to different places and helping change peoples’ lives is extremely rewarding.

3. What differentiates you from other realtors?

I am a full time Realtor! You will not be alone on your journey. I will be there to guide you every step of the way throughout the decision making process and provide you with a different perspective. There is a lot of emotion that goes into one of the largest purchases a person will be making in their life. I am there to help you stay focused and calm. Where you end up can be life changing!

4. What piece of advice would you give someone looking to buy a new house?

I would reassure them that I am here to ease their concerns and guide them throughout the entire process. Don’t obsess about timing! Research and explore the neighborhoods that appeal to you and make a list of your “must haves.” Stay focused so that you do not make a rash decision.

5. What is your favorite thing to do on Long Island?

There are so many fun activities to do on Long Island! Personally, I love to visit the many beautiful parks and beaches. From the Long Island Sound to the waves of the Fire Island Seashore and all the way to Montauk “The End!” In addition, the North Fork Wineries are always a great way to spend summer and fall days!
